Too long, I know, but only 9 days to go...

It's been too long since my last post. It's not because there is nothing to share. On the contrary, there's so much to do when you're not 100% sure about how the rest of your summer will unfold. There are not only chores to complete and errands to run, Keane's upcoming surgery has kicked our summer bucket list into high gear: Avery's been enrolled in an intensive swim class Monday through Thursday last week and this week; I insisted on a spontaneous trip to the beach to show my dear little man the ocean; and I was not about to let the swim suit for Keane I purchased three months ago go completely unused...you only have your first summer once!
